Peter Daly began his sales career in 1987 as a Sales Demonstrator for the then Hella Ireland traveling throughout every county of Ireland introducing the innovative Teroson brand to the Irish market North and South. This role gave Peter a rare insight into the autobody repair industry in every corner of Ireland, so much so that there are very few bodyshops owners he has not met or bodyshops he has not visited. It was his experiences during these very exciting years that shaped and formed his philosophy to business that real success is only achieved through real and meaningful partnership.

Joining the newly established AkzoNobel in 1996, Peter’s first role was to launch AkzoNobel’s newest paint brand in Ireland. Over his long career with AkzoNobel Peter held several management roles including National Sales Manager and Acoat Manager followed by his appointment as Managing Director in 2005. In 2015 AkzoNobel took the strategic decision to exit the Irish market and to appoint an Irish distributor for their car refinishing brands to allow for greater local flexibility. Peter embraced this opportunity and formed a partnership with his long-term friend and business partner Donie Dillane Managing Director of the Top Part Group. This partnership meant that Synergy VRSI joined the Top Part Group as their wholesale paint and body partner and since then that partnership has gone from strength to strength.
