We were delighted and honoured to host three of our customers at the annual SIMI Awards Dinner 2023 held recently in Dublin’s landmark Clayton Hotel (formerly The Burlington)

Only three bodyshops made it to the final stage of this prestigious award ceremony and gala event and we are very proud to say all three were Synergy Sikkens’ customers.

• • The overall winner of the SIMI Bodyshop of the year was the Accident Repair Centre based in Dublin who have now won the award for an incredible three years running.
  • The other nominees were Gregg Martin Crash Repair Dublin
  • Kingdom Crash Repair of Kerry.

Owen Cullen Managing Director of the Accident Repair Centre said on picking up his third Bodyshop of the Year Award in as many years “We’re so delighted to win again. It is great to have our team recognised for all their continued hard work and commitment. It is that teamwork and strong working partnerships that are the key to our sustained success. In particular I’d like to mention our long-time paint supplier Synergy VRSI who’s products, support and service help make us the best!”

Brendan Martin Managing Director of Gregg Martin Crash Repair was also delighted with the nomination as was Kingdom Crash Repairs’ Managing Director Tadgh O’Sullivan. Brendan commented “We are delighted to be nominated for this coveted award. It is recognition of the great work done by all our staff here in Gregg Martin Crash Repairs. To be nominated in the top three of the best of the best repairers in the country means a lot to us and to our customers.”

Tadgh O’Sullivan was also very honoured with Kingdom Crash Repairs’ top three nomination and vows to bring the winning trophy back to Kerry next year. Tadgh commented, “We hope to go one further next year and bring the winning trophy back to Kerry for the first time. It’s been a great experience.”

Peter Daly, Manging Director of Synergy Vehicle Refinishes Ireland, who is the main supplier of paint and materials to all three nominees of the Bodyshop of the Year Award said, “We are delighted to be associated with most of best bodyshops in Ireland for so many years. It is no coincidence that we have been the main supplier partner to eleven of the twelve previous Bodyshop of the Year Winners and to most of the previous nominees.
